During the height of summer, it's best to lather up with a sunscreen that's optimal for your skin. Shari Marchbein, a NYC based dermatologist, recommends products with physical blockers such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. These physical blockers "sit on top of the skin, forming a protective shield that reflects UV rays". Other sunscreens get absorbed into the skin.
